I want to be Saved

God the Creator has provided for all people two great gifts.

1.- The Law, the Ten Commandments, to save man of the troubles of lawlessness while living on earth.

2.- By His grace the gift of life eternal in Jesus Christ. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourself: it is the gift of God." (Ephesians 2:8)

Mankind is still living in a fallen world dominated by evil forces with wars, famines, violent disasters, sickness and death. To receive the two gifts from God, you, anyone, has to claim those gifts to be applied to your life. Jesus said: "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28) "Abide in me, and I in you..." (John 15:4)

The first gift, the Ten Commandments, (Exodus 20:2-17) it is the highest expression of love to God and to fellow men. They are the will of God for all men, and when a commandment is broken, the penitent sinner that goes to Jesus, the Savior, with a contrite heart, is always accepted. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9) If we don't go to Jesus asking forgiveness, remember that "sin is the transgression of the law." (1 John 3:4) And "the wages of sin is death..." (Romans 6:23) All transgressors of the law are condemned to death; but all that send their sins to Jesus in confession and repentance are forgiven and saved from the second death, because Christ paid the penalty of death for them; but whoever despises and rejects the gift of the Savior and retains those sins in his mind and body, in the Judgment, love and justice demand the destruction of both the sins and the holder. (John 20:23, Revelation 20:12-15)

The second gift, Jesus and His grace unto life eternal, will keep the ones saved praising Him for all eternity. The devil came to take away the life God had given Adam and Eve; but Jesus came to save us from the second death and to give us eternal life. "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." (John 10:10) "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." (John 10:28)

On earth, in the final days, there are only two churches. First, the church of the saved, represented by the woman of Revelation 12, where at the end "the remnant of her seed keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." (Revelation 12:17; 14:12)

Second, the church of the lost, represented by the great whore, Mystery, Babylon the Great of Revelation 17, where the inhabitants of the earth are made drunk with the wine of her fornication--unbiblical religious doctrines. (Revelation 17:1-8; 14:8-11) If I want to be saved, I have to make the right choice, because in the first church is the Savior with life for those coming in, and in the second church the devil will drag all followers to death.

God is sending the call of love around the earth, if any of his children is still in Babylon; "Come out of her, my people..." (Revelation 18:4) Salvation was purchase by the blood and life of Christ on the cross, by the Lamb of God, and is freely offered by his grace to anyone claiming the merits of the life, death, resurrection, and priestly ministry of Jesus on his own life. Then by faith the believer can be sure of salvation.

Many Christians have lost sight of Jesus after the resurrection. They cannot see the High Priest in the Heavenly Sanctuary, where he is busy listening to the confessions of all repentant sinners and forgiving their faults and transgressions of the law. They cannot see the Advocate, in the Judgment, standing in the place of a justified sinner to cleanse his name from all unrighteousness and secure his victory in the Book of Life. But, by faith you can see Him in the pages of the Bible. (Hebrews 8-10;1 John 1:9; 2:1)

Under the high pressure from the church-state powers that be at the end, I, you, anyone, must join one of the sides in that religious battle. There is no middle safe ground. Everyone comes to a final decision, choosing Christ, the Savior, for life; or from the church-state powers on earth, his own idol for death. It is the last choice.

And at the conclusion of the Judgment in heaven, Jesus said: "And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be." (Revelation 22:12; Daniel 7:10, 26)

All, life or death, depends on the choice, every man, every woman, makes. On one side is the religious confusion of the world, Babylon the Great, empowered by the nations on earth and enforcing unbiblical doctrines. (Revelation 17) On the other side is the Lord and Savior, soon to come to rescue God's people. "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commanments of God, and the faith of Jesus." (Revelation 14:12) The last call of mercy is on the air: "Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues." (Rev. 18:1-4) Will you come to Jesus, your Savior?
